CALVIÀ RECEIVES AN EXCELLENT IN TRANSPARENCY
Only three municipalities of the Islands have scored above 90%
Calvià has received an Excellent rating in the transparency index evaluated by Infoparticipa from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
With a score of 94.3%, Calvià is one of the three municipalities in the Balearic Islands that have been rated above 90%: Calvià 94.23%, Santa Eulària del Riu 94.23% and Inca 92.31% .
Infoparticipa analyzes the transparency of the municipalities through their websites, assessing 5 axes and 52 items. In the case of Calvià, it has been valued excellently due to the high degree of compliance with the law that obliges administrations to publish all information of interest to citizens on their websites. In the case of the Balearic Islands, only 15% of the municipalities have passed and of these only three have received an outstanding rating, Calvià amongst them.
With these indicators, Santa Eulària and Inca will receive the Infoparticipa seal, but not Calvià which, despite having reached the highest score like Santa Eulària, needs 95% to obtain the seal, since it is a municipality with more than 50.000 inhabitants.
Calvià Town Hall maintains its commitment to Transparency and this has translated into an improvement in the evolution of the indicators, going from 31.71% in May 2015 to 94.23% in May 2023.
