Electronic procedures with the Calvią Town Hall

ELECTRONIC PROCEDURES WITH THE CALVIÀ TOWN HALL

Soon you will be able to do all the procedures online with the Calvià Town Hall. For this, it will be necessary to have the electronic certificate from the FNMT-RCM or a DNIe.

Electronic Certificate

How can you obtain your electronic certificate from the FNMT-RCM?
The procedure is only for private individuals, as legal entities must process it directly with the Public Tax Agency. The process is very simple, it consists of three steps that must be carried out in the following order:
1. Certificate request online
2. Proof of your identity by physical appearance.
3. Download the certificate from the Internet

These steps are detailed below:
1. Certificate request
Open your Internet browser and enter the page of the Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre (National Mint and Stamp Factory) where you can obtain the User Certificate (link). Follow the instructions there. At the end of this process, you will obtain a code that must be presented at any of the accreditation offices (step 2) and that you will have to use when downloading the certificate (step 3).

2. Proof of your identity.
It is NOT necessary to request a Prior Appointment to carry out this accreditation.
Provided with the application code obtained in the previous step and your identification document (DNI, NIE), you must show up at an Accreditation Office. The Calvià Town Hall offers this service. You can contact the Citizen Service of the Consistorial Building (c / Julià Bujosa Sans, batle, 1 de Calvià vila) or the Municipal Services Center of Palmanova from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Once identified and in the office itself, the applicant will proceed to sign the certificate application form and its conditions of use, of which a copy will be given.
3. Download the certificate.
A few minutes after having proven your identity at a Registry Office (or 24 hours later if you have chosen a Tax Agency Registry Office), using the application code obtained in step 1, you can download your certificate by entering the page of the Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre from the same computer, the same browser and the same user with whom you made the request (Step 1).

How to activate the DNIe

To activate the electronic DNI it is necessary to go to a police station where the DNI is issued. There they have special machines to proceed with the activation. After entering the DNI, you have to enter the PIN that will have been given to you in an envelope when processing the DNI or put your finger on the fingerprint reader to verify identity. Once identified, you just have to follow the instructions on the screen that will guide you through the activation process.
