THE TOWN HALL LAUNCHES 'ABONA’T A CALVIÀ', THE THIRD DISCOUNT VOUCHER CAMPAIGN EDITION AIMED AT THE TRADE AND CATERING INDUSTRY OF THE MUNICIPALITY
For the third consecutive year, Calvià citizens will have this aid with the aim of boosting the trade sector in the low season
Calvià Town Hall launches, for the third consecutive year, Abona't a Calvià, the discount voucher campaign that aims to boost the local business activity and encourage local consumption during the low season.
The first voucher campaign was launched in 2020 in Calvià in response to the situation caused by the pandemic, as one more measure to reactivate the municipality's economy, and has been maintained given the good response from both, establishments and citizens in these two years of operation.
17.500 vouchers worth 20 euros each are made available from 17th November to residents of the municipality, over 16 years of age. The client will only have to pay 10 euros, while the other 10 will be provided by the Town Hall, for which it makes an investment of 175.000 euros. A minimum economic impact of 350.000 euros is expected in the Calvià participating establishments, with this third campaign.
To purchase vouchers, it will be necessary to access a very simple platform which can also be connected with a mobile phone. The platform's address is: comercio.calvia.com or comerciocalvia.com. On this website you can check all the establishments joining the voucher campaign.
Vouchers can be purchased until 28th February and can be exchanged in establishments until 31st March.
Like last year, shops and service establishments such as hairdressers or beauty and optician centres can join the voucher campaign. In addition, since last edition, discount vouchers can also be exchanged at the catering sector (restaurants, bars and cafes).
Up to 4 vouchers can be purchased per person.
