This programme is promoted by the SOIB and has been financed by the European Social Fund (ESF), within the framework of the Youth Employment Operational Programme 2014-2020, and of the Sectoral Conference on Employment and Labour Affairs with a contribution from the SOIB of 428.056,57€, divided into 376.373,40€ by Calvià Town Hall, 18.585€ by the OMT and 33.098,20€ by the IMEB. The total municipal contribution is 32.095,43€.

This is the fourth edition of the Programme's call so 64 young people will have been hired in Calvià.

By level of education, 10 of the young people have a university degree and the rest have higher degree vocational training. These people will perform functions related to their studies, and will develop different projects in departments or services of the Town Hall and the municipal companies. The objective of this programme is to facilitate the insertion into the labour market of these persons with higher degrees, as well as to offer them the opportunity to learn about the Public Administration and obtain professional experience in their sector.

When all the aforementioned projects are finished, the IFOC will make available to these young working people the necessary resources to promote their employment, including the Town Hall's Municipal Employment Agency, the Employment Guidance Service, the Entrepreneur Service and the training activities organised by IFOC.
