Among the functions of the local Tax Management Service, in the area of the application of the Tax on Mechanical Traction Vehicles (IVTM), are the following:

- Management of the tax self-assessment, prior to the registration of the vehicle.
- Management of the database and of the municipal vehicle fleet.
- Management of tax benefits in the legally established tax.
