The audit function has the objective of controlling all the actions of the Local Public Administration, of its self-governing organizations and any other public entity that gives rise to the acknowledgement of rights and obligations of an economic content, as well as the collecting and payment of any monies deriving from the collection, investment or general application of public funds, with the result of assuring that they adjust to the regulations set down in each case.
