On 26th May 2019, the municipal elections were held in Spain, where the councillors were elected for all the town halls. The Calvià Municipal Corporation of 2015 has remained in force until the celebration and constitution of the new Plenary of last 15th June 2019. In this Plenary, once the elected councillors were accredited, the new corporation was constituted and the mayor was appointed.
The Municipal Corporation is formed by 21 councillors: 10 of the PSIB-PSOE, 5 of the PP, 2 of VOX, 2 of Cs and 2 of the Podem–MÉS coalition.
THE GOVERNMENT TEAM is composed of 10 councillors of the Socialist Party (PSIB-PSOE) and two councillors of the Podem-MÉS coalition. Once the new Municipal Corporation was constituted, by decree of the mayor's office on 17th June 2019, the members of the Local Government Board and the deputy mayors and a first role assignment and delegations of authority were appointed. Special delegate councillors by areas have also been appointed by decree of the mayor's office on 20th June.
