Start of new gastronomic consultancies

Calvià promotes its positioning as a gastronomic destination with free consultancies for the restaurant sector

The first gastronomic consultancy will take place on 22nd and 23rd April at the Mesón Son Caliu

The Institut de Formació i Ocupació de Calvià (IFOC), in collaboration with Restauración Mallorca CAEB, has announced an initiative to strengthen the restaurant sector in the municipality of Calvià. This is a gastronomic consulting service specialised in customer service and sales techniques, designed specifically for local hospitality establishments and without any associated cost.

These consultancies are part of the municipal strategy to position Calvià as an outstanding gastronomic destination, as recently presented at the Berlin tourism fair. The consulting programme not only seeks to improve the quality of service in local restaurants, but also to strengthen the reputation and tourist attraction of Calvià as a top-level gastronomic destination.

With this new initiative, the Calvià Town Hall - through the IFOC - and Restauración Mallorca CAEB reaffirm their commitment to growth and excellence in the restaurant sector in Calvià, promoting and making known the rich and varied culinary offering the town offers.

The consulting programme offers eight hours of face-to-face advice from experts in the field of hospitality and customer service. Participants will have the opportunity to work on different strategies to provide exceptional service and to create positive experiences for customers, as well as effective techniques to increase sales ethically and strategically.

The first gastronomic consultancy for the Palmanova-Magaluf area will take place on 22nd and 23rd April from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Mesón Son Caliu.
