CALVIÀ TOWN HALL HIRES 39 PEOPLE IN APRIL WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE SOIB REACTIVA 2020 PROGRAMME
Calvià Town Hall, through the Calvià Employment and Training Institute (IFOC) and its public bodies, the Municipal Tax Office and Llar de Calvià, is hiring people for 39 job vacancies on 20th April for a period of 4 months to collaborate in different areas and municipal companies.
67 people have been working in the first turn of this programme, which began on 18th December 2020 until 17th April 2021.
This second shift, that has now started, is made up mostly of people registered in Calvià:
Line 2: Aimed at 13 long-term unemployed people, over 30 years old, registered as unemployed in the SOIB for at least 12 of the last 18 months. In this case, jobs related to the maintenance of buildings and urban facilities have been offered.
Line 3: Aimed at 26 unemployed people, over 30 years old, registered for a minimum of 3 months as unemployed in the SOIB or with a shorter duration in the case of people from an ERTE. This line is aimed, amongst others, at administrative profiles, building maintenance personnel, geriatric assistants and cleaning personnel.
All these contracts are part of the SOIB Reactiva 2020 Programme, the initiative launched by the SOIB that is implemented within the framework of collaboration with local corporations, and is configured as an active policy to promote employment.
This programme is co-financed with funds from the ESF (European Social Fund), within the framework of the Operational Programmes for Youth and Regional Employment 2014-2020; with funds from the State through the Sectorial Conference on Employment and Labour Affairs; with funds to promote sustainable tourism through the Commission for the Promotion of Sustainable Tourism, and with a contribution of 269.294,96 € from Calvià Town Hall.
Calvià has received funding from the SOIB 1.006.064,84 €, which will have enabled the hiring of 106 people in the two hiring turns lasting 4 months each.
