CALVIÀ APPOINTS THE NATIONAL POLICE FORCE INSPECTOR ESTHER RIBAS AS NEW HEAD OF THE LOCAL POLICE
Esperanza Catalá highlights "the extensive curriculum and training of Inspector Ribas" and that with her designation "the selection process that has decided her appointment culminates with the choice of the best applicant"

The Calvià Government team has resolved to designate the inspector of the National Police Force Esther Ribas Marino as the new head of the Calvià Local Police "once the selection process that has decided her appointment with the election of the best applicant has been completed'', as Esperanza Catalá, first deputy mayor of the Local Police and Civil Protection of Calvià Town Hall, has pointed out, who has also highlighted "the extensive curriculum and training of inspector Ribas".
Esperanza Catalá has also highlighted that "she is the first woman to occupy the Calvià Local Police headquarters, a fact that represents another example of the incorporation of women into the high command of the Security Forces".
It is the first time that two women are in charge of the direction of the Local Police of Calvià, with Esperanza Catalá as first deputy mayor of Local Police and Civil Protection and with Esther Ribas as head of the security force.
Esther Ribas Marino is an inspector for the National Police Force. She has a degree in Law and Police Sciences from the University of Salamanca and has the specialisation in Judicial Police, in addition to different training and specialisation courses in the police field.
In her career as an inspector of the National Police Force, she has held the responsibilities of Head of Immigration Management, Head of the Central Unit of Illegal Immigration Networks and Documentation Forgeries (UCRIF) Task Force and, currently, she had been exercising responsibility functions in the Information Area of the CNP.
Esther Ribas, head of Calvià Local Police, replaces Francisco Darder Kittila, who will return to his job as Calvià Local Police deputy inspector once the extension of his appointment to occupy the job of the local police headquarters has finished.
