CALVIÀ RECOVERS SANT JOAN WITH A NEW EDITION OF THE ARTISTIC DAY 'JOANART'
The sixth edition of the cultural event will comply with the security and prevention measures for Covid, so it is necessary to make a prior reservation to take part in the activities

Coinciding with the Sant Joan festival, a new edition of the 'Joanart' artistic day will take place in Calvià, which is now recovered for the municipality adapted to the current situation. The sixth edition of the cultural event, which marks the beginning of Summer in Calvià, will comply with the security and prevention measures for Covid, so it is necessary to make a prior reservation to take part in the different activities.
On 23rd June, the conference entitled "The secret life of art, curiosities and anecdotes of biblical-themed works" will be given by Aina Ferrero at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall.
On 24th June, starting at 6.30 p.m., at the Calvià Town Hall, the JoanArt Calvià exhibition of visual arts can be visited. Along with the exhibition, which includes works by different artists, there will be a wine tasting activity by Aromas Gastrobar with the collaboration of chef Angélica Pastrana and live music with Hot Creepers.
At 7.30 p.m. in Can Verger a family activity called Cabaret extravagant will take place performed by Atirofijo Circ.
The activities of this new edition of Joanart, adapted to the special circumstances as a result of Covid, will conclude on Saturday 26th June at Sa Societat where the play Joy Speed, winner of the Theatre Rei En Jaume 2020 award, will be premiered.
Also within the framework of the Joanart artistic week, on the 18th, the book Calvià al setmanari "Foch y Fum", by Manel Suárez Salvà, was presented in Can Verger.
