The mayor of Calvià participates in the Ministry's Destination Tourism Sustainability Strategy presentation
The mayor of Calvià, as president of the Tourism Commission of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), has participated in the presentation of the Destination Tourism Sustainability Strategy of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, which has taken place in Lanzarote.
In his speech, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal highlighted the aid that has been launched by the central government, such as ERTE or aid for the self-employed, and the sensitivity it has had with the two archipelagos with the direct aid line of 7.000 euros, to which positive discrimination is applied to address their reality. Likewise, he has valued that destinations are the axes on which strategic tourism sustainability plans pivot.
